Well.. I did watch some teachers talk to a conference a few years ago and one of them said that a true artist knows how to get influenced by other people's work , "steals" the details he likes and then turns them into his own idea. Because what else is art if not "stealing" what we see and rearranging that into something pleasing for our brain and eyes... Now I'd better watch the video too )
